Nows and Forevers

Writer and human, born 10 years too late

Now

I’m a journalist and a writer from the Connecticut/New York area and living in the Midwest. That, in itself, is the subject of a lot of blog posts.

WHERE I AM

Along the Hudson River.

WHAT I’M WRITING

THE TYPEWRITING I’M USING

A 1964 Smith Corona Galaxie II. And an Olympia SM-9, depending on my mood.

WHAT I’M READING

“Beware the Curves,” by Erle Stanley Gardner writing as A.A. Fair.

WHAT I JUST FINISHED READING

Dark Renaissance by Stephen Greenblatt. It’s a biography of Elizabethan-era playwright and poet Christopher Marlowe, a contemporary of William Shakespeare and a guy with a fascinating backstory.

“Murder on the Orient Express.” I started this as an audiobook as I was going on a long car drive, and I finished the 8-hour or so audiobook. It was better than I thought it would be, although crazy ending.

About Me

Journalist and writer. Loves writing, storytelling, books, typewriters. Always trying to find my line. Oh, and here’s where I am now.
