Identifying the Missing From 9/11

There are still more than 1,000 people who are missing from the World Trade Center attacks.

This week came the news that the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner had identified remains from an adult female who was killed in the attacks. She’s one of the almost 3,000 people we lost that day in lower Manhattan.

I’m relieved that the medical examiner’s office isn’t giving up, even 25 years later. And that’s hard to say, 25 years later. I still remember it like it was yesterday.
