So I’ve been accused by very human editors — going back to the ’80s — of using one too many em dashes. (See what I did there?) I don’t want to give them up just because AI favors them. After upward of 12 million words published in my career so far across this Earth, either in print or in pixels, you can be sure I’m not going to ever let AI create something for me.
