I think this Instagram post says it all.
This doesn’t really surprise me, since Caribou, Maine — and all of Aroostook County — have always had one of the best chances for a white Christmas anywhere in the lower 48 states. It’s one of its many charms.
But when I saw this, I was a little surprised about one thing: The last time snow fell as early in Caribou was in 2000, when I was still living in Caribou. I left Caribou, and Maine, a few months later.
